Ramayana Movie Release Date: Part 1 Diwali 2026 & Part 2 Diwali 2027 Confirmed

After years of meticulous pre-production and secret filming, producer Namit Malhotra has officially locked the worldwide theatrical release dates for both installments of Ramayana.

Diwali 2026 Worldwide Rollout

Part 1 will arrive in cinemas across India and 100+ international countries on Thursday, 5 November 2026. Timed precisely for the festival of Diwali—which commemorates Lord Rama’s triumphant return to Ayodhya—the release promises to be the biggest box office holiday event in Indian history.

Diwali 2027 Sequel Timeline

Part 2 will follow exactly twelve months later during Diwali 2027. Filming both installments concurrently has ensured that visual continuity is maintained and that post-production visual effects by DNEG can be polished without rushed delays.
