The Creative Minds Behind the Epic

Bringing the scale of the Ramayana to life requires unprecedented collaboration among visionary Indian storytellers and world-renowned international cinematic craftspeople.

Director Nitesh Tiwari

One of Indian cinema’s most acclaimed directors, Nitesh Tiwari has consistently demonstrated mastery over deep emotional resonance and visual pacing. His landmark film Dangal (2016) remains the highest-grossing Indian film worldwide, having amassed over ₹2,000 crore globally, while Chhichhore earned the National Film Award for Best Feature Film. Tiwari spent over five years researching mythological source texts alongside co-writer Shridhar Raghavan to craft an authentic script.

Producer Namit Malhotra & Prime Focus Studios

Global entertainment titan Namit Malhotra serves as the driving force behind the production. As the founder of Prime Focus and Global CEO of DNEG, Malhotra has overseen visual effects for seven Academy Award-winning features, including Dune: Part One, Dune: Part Two, Tenet, Blade Runner 2049, Interstellar, Inception, and First Man. His personal commitment to Ramayana is to create an Indian cinematic masterpiece that sets an international technical benchmark.

Producer Yash & Monster Mind Creations

Kannada superstar Yash, who propelled the KGF franchise into a pan-Indian cultural phenomenon, joined the project as both lead actor (Ravana) and co-producer through Monster Mind Creations. Yash has taken active leadership in global distribution partnerships and multi-language creative fidelity.
