Ramayana Movie Overview

The Landmark Indian Cinematic Epic
Ramayana is a monumental two-part mythological feature film directed by celebrated filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari (director of Dangal and Chhichhore) and co-produced by Namit Malhotra (Global CEO of Prime Focus and DNEG) alongside Kannada superstar Yash (Monster Mind Creations). Representing the most ambitious film production in Indian cinematic history, the two-part saga adapts Maharishi Valmiki’s timeless epic for global theatrical distribution.
Vision & Narrative Architecture
The cinematic adaptation is conceived as a faithful, respectful, and visually unprecedented two-part theatrical journey:

- Part 2 (Diwali 2027): Chronicles Rama’s quest across Kishkindha, the alliance with Sugriva and Lord Hanuman, the construction of the Rama Setu across the southern ocean, the epic War of Lanka, and the ultimate victory of righteousness (Dharma) over tyranny.
