Ramayana Movie Part 2: Confirmed Production Updates, War for Lanka & Sequel Details

While audiences eagerly anticipate Part 1 in November 2026, director Nitesh Tiwari is concurrently advancing production on the climactic sequel: Ramayana Part 2, scheduled for worldwide release in Diwali 2027.

The War for Lanka & The Epic Climax

Part 2 chronicles the grandest spectacles of the epic: the gathering of the Vanara armies in Kishkindha, Hanuman’s legendary leap across the ocean, the building of the floating stone bridge Rama Setu, and the apocalyptic battle against Ravana’s forces in Lanka. Visual effects work by DNEG is being executed concurrently to guarantee an uncompromised theatrical spectacle.
