Sheeba Chaddha
Manthara Royal Nurse & Manipulative Confidante to Queen Kaikeyi
Acclaimed stage and screen actress Sheeba Chaddha brings nuanced psychological depth to the role of Manthara, the hunchbacked royal maid whose whispered counsel poisons Kaikeyi’s mind against Rama.
Chaddha steers the character away from one-dimensional villainy toward a masterclass in domestic palace politics and insecurity.
